Lazy Acre offers nine self- contained log cabins with complete privacy, exceptional comfort and are designed to provide as much living space as possible.  Each cabin is designed to accommodate from 2 to 8 guests and includes a fully equipped kitchen with all cooking and eating facilities, 4 burner cooktops, oven, microwave and refrigerator.  The bathroom with a shower and basin is separate to the toilet and laundry room with a washing machine and a clothesline.

The living area is furnished with sofas, television, reverse cycle air- conditioning, ceiling fan in the lounge room, table and chairs in the kitchen area. The two bedroom comprises of one queen room and the second room with single beds all fitted with electric blankets, and all personal linen and doonas are provided.  Parking for cars and boats is available onsite.

Guests also have access to FREE WIFI, a coin operated dryer, library, mobile gas barbecue, or provided barbecue area, playground, and a 9m swimming pool.

Lazy Acre Log Cabins has a “NO CRAB” cooking policy in the cabins or on the property. If evidence of stored crabs or crab nets are found in or outside the cabins then a cleaning fee of $500 will be charged.

Boat, Trailer and Jetski Parking


Boat and trailer parking is available in front of the cabins.
Hoses on each cabin for wash down and engine flush.

All Log Cabins Include:

Kitchen | Refrigerator, microwave, 4 burner cooktop, crockery, cutlery, utensils. Mobile BBQ which can be used at your cabin or in gazebo.

Climate Control | Reverse cycle air conditioning and heating.

Lounge | Reverse cycle air condioning, 50-inch SMART television, Ceiling fan, Comfortable 1 and 2-seater sofa.

Verandah | Garden aspect with chairs and ash trays.

Linen | All bed and bath linen is provided. BYO beach towels.

Laundry | Separate laundry with washing machine, ironing board and portable clothes line. (Please note: Iron is provided upon request only at Reception).

Amenities | Toilet and separate bathroom.

2 Bedroom Self – Contained Cabin

Lazy Acre offers wheelchair friendly accommodation with ramp access, widened doors, wheel in shower, and rails in bathroom. All rooms are spacious allowing for easy wheelchair movement.  All fittings throughout the cabin can be accessed from a seated position and includes a functional kitchen.



This cabin is a two bedroom and accommodates for 4 people offering one queen and two single beds.

Things to do in Lakes

There is so much to see and so many things to do in Lakes Entrance. You can take a stroll along the Esplanade and walk across the foot bridge over Cunningham Arm to the 90 mile beach, or try your hand at golfing, fishing, paddle boats, cruises, shell museum, bush walks, winery tours and much more! We also have plenty of cafes and restaurants to visit, or you can simply enjoy a relaxing walk along the beautiful, 90 Mile Beach. Gippsland Lakes Coastal Park

Australia’s largest and most beautiful inland waterways, the Gippsland Lakes are a network of lakes, marshes and lagoons covering over 600 square kilometres.

The Lakes are separated from the ocean by coastal dunes known as Ninety Mile Beach, from Seaspray to Lakes Entrance. Whether you’re into fishing, swimming, or sunbaking it’s definitely worth a day at the beach.

Gippsland Lakes Discovery Trail

Spend a day on your bike and enjoy the Gippsland Lakes Discovery Trail with friends and famiy. This scenic and enjoyable ride follows the old tramway along the Mississippi Creek, with plenty of wildlife to be seen along the way. Trail runs through the Colquhoun forest, which is situated approximately 10 kilometers north-west of Lakes Entrance. The Discovery Trail is well maintained and clearly signposted for riders. This trail has picnic tables and toilet stops along the way.

Nyerimilang Heritage Park

A heritage listed park with magnificent views, bush walks and a variety of plant and birdlife.
At Nyerimilang Homestead, you will discover a delightful garden setting on a cliff top above the beautiful Gippsland Lakes. Perfect picnic spots are surrounded by gardens and scenic walks meander along bush and farm tracks, past Kurrajong trees, wetland areas and through the East Gippsland Indigenous Plant Garden.
